About Us
Chasing Tails Mobile Veterinary Services is a family owned and operated practice serving all of Sarasota County and most of Manatee County in Florida. We are proud to provide mobile health care and emergency medicine to multiple species. Our goal is to provide quality veterinary medicine along with convenience while providing your pets with up- to-date services for their well- being.
Our Mission
We "Chase Tails" of your pets to demonstrate our love for animals by providing compassionate, quality health care to our patients, while respecting the needs of their owners.
Dr. Jeanie Pepper D.V.M.
Dr. Jeanie Pepper has the love for animals that began long before she could talk. Jeanie was fortunate enough to be raised with horses, cattle, pigs, dogs, cats, goats and any other creatures she was allowed to take home. She was in 4-H and competed in AQHA events as a youth. She graduated in 2001 from Venice High School and continued her career in Manatee Community College receiving her A.A with emphasis on biology and A.S. (Radiology Technologist) In 2006.
In 2007, Dr. Jeanie attended University of Florida (Go Gators!), graduating in 2009 with her Bachelors In Animal Biology, At UF Dr. Jeanie competed on the UF Equestrian Team and was involved in many club activities. In 2010, she was accepted into Veterinary School at Ross University on the island of St. Kitts ( Go Rossies!). The final clinical year of Vet school was performed at Texas A&M (Go Aggies!), in 2013.
Dr. Jeanie continued her education with an internship at one of the largest mixed animal practices in Texas (Alvarado Veterinary Clinic), where she stayed on as an associate for a year. She elected to move to a small animal emergency clinic in Mansfield, TX for a year while she began her large animal mobile practice in Texas. Dr. Jeanie then had the opportunity to work for a company that was a small animal day practice for a year.
In May of 2017, Dr. Jeanie and her husband Andrew; including all their 4- legged family members decided to move to Florida to be closer to family and aid in care of animals/pets in her hometown.
Chasing Tails Veterinary Clinic, LLC DBA Chasing Tails Mobile Veterinary Services was established May 12th, 2017.
Casey Lamberton
Casey is Dr. Jeanie's sister who also has a passion for animals. Casey graduated from the University of Florida with her bachelors in Animal Science specializing in biology, with a minor in Sale and Management in Agribusiness. Casey grew up raising and showing many species of animal including horse, cattle and pigs. During her time at the University of Florida she held many positions for the Equestrian Team, Gator Colligate Cattlewomen's and Block N Bridle Club.
She continues her love for animals by assisting Dr. Jeanie and Chasing Tails. On her time off Casey enjoys showing her horse, traveling and boating.
